Andrew is a Partner in the Firm, and presently the Team Leader of the Dispute Resolution, Financial Services and Real Estate Practice Group. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from Moi University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and the East Africa Law Society (EALS).
His responsibilities entail the timely and effective advancement (or defence) of Client’s interests within the practice area; legal advocacy before courts, quasi- judicial tribunals, and in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) fora; advancing relevant legal opinions on legal risk exposure and mitigation; and client management. Thus far, he has delivered successful outcomes for varying client interests including in commercial and contractual disputes, insolvency law practice, constitutional law and human rights disputes/ petitions, property law disputes, public interest litigation, IP infringement disputes and data protection.
Andrew has an enduring interest in the intersection of law and finance, and on account of this, he keeps abreat with key developments in the context of this intersection, including in the areas of tax, securities law, and international trade law. In his spare time, you will occassionally find him on the off road, or on the off chance, hunched over a Land Rover Defender 110.
